Peratallada is an excellent autumn day trip from Lloret de Mar, especially on 3–4 October 2026, when its 30th Medieval Fair fills the historic stone streets with crafts, music, theatre, period characters and family activities.

Why visit this weekend?

Part of Forallac in Baix Empordà, Peratallada preserves an exceptional medieval centre. Tenth-century documents refer to Petra Scissa and Petra Tallada. The old town itself becomes the fair’s stage.

What is on at the 2026 Medieval Fair?

Expect artisan and food stalls, traditional crafts, musical parades, theatre, period dances, wooden games, archery and a medieval camp. Saturday includes a royal procession, knightly combat and a cavalry tournament. Sunday brings repeat performances and a closing parade.

What should you see?

Make time for Plaça del Castell, the walls, stone arches, narrow lanes and Romanesque Sant Esteve church. A 90-minute guided history walk is scheduled for Saturday at 5 pm, priced at €5 with advance registration.

How should you plan the trip from Lloret?

Leave in the morning and allow a full day. Regulated parking has special fair hours on 3–4 October, from 9 am to 10:30 pm. Comfortable shoes are essential.

Explore Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar too.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes. Street shows, games, archery, craftspeople and the medieval camp make it an easy family outing.
